The females are the solid foundation of any breeding program. Our girls provide our youngsters with large, correct frames and silky, colorful fiber. They are also excellent mothers with lots of milk. What more could a cria want?

Roseanna has been a wonderful show girl for us, winning grand and reserve champions in ALSA shows. She is a very big, gorgeous girl that has the "Look At Me!" attitude for the show ring. Roseanna is now retired and among our keeper herd of girls producing our next generation of show winners. Her daughters, THLA Anne of Green Gables and THLA Cool Runnings are here on our Females Page. Rosey is a sweetheart to work with, and has a great personality. She is, hands down, the favorite female around here! She is also the mother of THLA Copper Penny, an amazing suri girl on our new arrivals page.

Wow! What a girl! What genetics! What fiber! What color! What a sweetie! This girl is destined for great and wonderful things. Her mom, Roseanna, is our favorite, big showgirl. "Cool" has her mother's excellent conformation, show presence and very large size. Amaretto threw in the awesome pale silver color and lovely fiber. On top of all that, she has one of the sweetest personalities around. Her name comes from the movie of the same name. It means "Peace be the Journey". One of our favorites here.

Annie is a beautiful girl with a variety of different colors, including tan, gray, black, white, red and perhaps some we haven't found yet! She has wonderful, silky wool, and a personality that wins everyone's heart. She is yet another show stopper. Fiber, conformation, heavy bone, color and a sweet personality make a combination that is hard to beat!
Annie won first place in her class at the 2002 Southwest Llama Breeder's Amateur Futurity in Flagstaff, Arizona! She also won first place in "Bred and Owned" at the Grand Canyon Classic ALSA show the same weekend! She was just 6 months old and this was her first trip away from home, let alone her very first show! We knew this girl was destined for great and wonderful things! (photo at right)
We were not able to show much for a while due to health issues. When we finally got to go again, Anne proved herself once more. She was Reserve Champion heavy wool female in Grand Junction, Colorado. (Photo at left)

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.... That's all I could say when this girl was born! We purchased her mother at Celebrity and she has made us happy ever since. This is her second cria for us and the match with Cobre was a winner. Lotta Dots is a big appaloosa girl with fabulous SURI fiber and correct conformation. She will do great and wonderful things for your breeding program. A real sweetheart to boot, she loves giving kisses, especially for a backscratch.

A full Chilean sweetheart! This girl has personality + + + ! She is the first one to come up to you in the pasture. Her curly cheeks and top knot only add to her appeal. She has lovely red fiber and gray curls on her face. Her first cria was born 1-9-04, a gorgeous appy girl named Cookie Dough with silver and blonde patches. Cookie lives in Flagstaff, Arizona with her proud new owners. She is the mother of THLA Lotta Dots on our Sale Page, and is also the mother of a beautiful new baby
girl this spring (2008) that has yet to be added to the site. Scotch is our "Color Factory", throwing everything from appaloosas and paints to color patterns we can't place a name on! Her daughter THLA Peaches and Cream is another gorgeous creation of hers. The only way to describe her colors are "peach" cream and silver.

Tempest is a real show girl. She has won grand and reserve champions for us at several ALSA shows. She is a big, beautiful bay girl that is conformationally correct and has loads of ring presence! She has lovely, fine fiber that was compared to fine huacaya alpaca by one fiber judge, so spinners take notice! She is THLA Sweet Capsicum's dam, and consistently throws gorgeous show crias that are large, correct and silky. Another of our "Mom Extraordinaire" Club. She is the mother of THLA Cinnamon Twist on our Sale Page, also the mother of THLA Gentlemen Prefer Blondes on our new arrival's page. They are 2 outstanding, suri girls. Tempest just keeps producing amazing crias!
